Poison Ivy

Well with all jelly making and berry picking I got myself a pretty sweet case of poison ivy!! Yes for 2 1/2 weeks I have battled this stuff. I had to go to a primacare and my regular dr. both giving me shots and meds. Did I mention how freakin hot the meds make me??? Thats the only thing that sucks about the new meds. I finally got the miracle cream from my dr. and just let me tell you things are soooo much better here!! My neck actually looks like a neck rather than a a pile of red flesh, YUCK!!!!! And yes the jelly is good but not $175 worth of good!

Tomorrow is Co-op reg. day. Can't wait to see my friends. It's been a while since I have seen most of them! Good times! Not only that but my dear father-in-law is babysitting Garrett tomorrow....poor man. Does he really know what he is getting himself into??

Tomorrow also marks the last week of Elementary for my dear Hannah. She is moving across the street to Inter. campus. I am so sad, it's hard to set my baby "to the wolves" . HAHAHA! Not really, but it really feels like it sometimes. Just a quick Hannah story: She ask her dadthe other day "Dad when Hannah goes to the other school can she drive your car?" HAHAHAHA! Although, it's not to much futher down the rode.

Sale, Jelly and Laundry soap?!?!?

Well the sale is over and wow did I sell a lot of product!!! Thanks to all for ordering.

The jelly made and it's good Garrett says its belisious!! We had gone and picked berries on Monday so I made jelly yesterday. Also on my normal "LOST" night I went to Juli's house and the three of us made Laundry soap and fabric softener!!! Had many good times with my good friends Juli and Jenny. I will post the recipes ijn another post or you can check our Cutting Cost not Quality by my friend Merideth Thomas!! She also has the laundry soap recipe!!

Finished

I finally got finished with my "Spring Cleaning" on Sunday. I had a little help from Juli's son though, but it is ALL done!!!! Wow I filled Terry's pick-up with trash. How can we collect sooooo much junk??? I mean I also took 3 bags and 1 box to good will, one small box to my mother, some things to Juli, some to my in-laws, and still had that much trash. But now I am feeling so FREE of JUNK!! Unwanted junk that is, I still have my JUNK!!! HAHAHAHA

My Friend Juli

Well a couple of weeks ago my friend Juli had this LOVELY idea: to help each other "spring clean" our closets. . Do you know the one I am talking about?? When she said this she had that smooth voice "It will be so much fun". Well mine are much worse than hers, so I wanted to get a jump start. Well just let me say it is day 4 of TOTAL destruction in my house!!!! So far I have only finished 2 closets and the kids bedrooms. I am tired, sweaty, grouchy, and I am not cooking again tonight. Why, you may ask.......I can't find the stove or sink under all that junk!! There are 12 plastics tubs all over the living room and kitchen floors.

But on the plus side I have thrown out 6 bags of trash and packed up part of the winter clothes!!! Which is GREAT!!! Is it worth all this mess though??? Oh and not to mention that no one in my family can even notice anything. So next time your over please ask to see inside my closets!!!

Today

Well today was supposed to be our ARD, but our Dear principal is sick and asked if we could just do it tomorrow. So our ARD is Tuesday, which I am very thankful for. After such a busy weekend I need the rest!

NOW onto my weekend: It was GREAT!!!! I had so much fun at the homeschool bookfair. I roomed with so really good friends!! Although I will say that Vicki and I had the MOST fun, walking the halls, visiting the pool and watching cheaters in the lobby all at 2 a.m. Oh and did I mention that we were in our PJ's??? Can you tell I needed a little time away from my family?!?!?!?!

Although at some point I became VERY overwelmed with all the choices. But made my choices and went to a few classes. Which were good. Thanks to all 12 ladies who traveled with us this weekend...I had a GREAT time with you all!

Rain

I am so thankful to God for the rain. Sometimes, like today, I pray it would not come in such bucket loads!!! We are soooooo flooded that Sunday Terry got his car stuck in our driveway. After todays rain I am scared our house will float away!!! HAHAHAHA

The loud crack of thunder this morning scared Garrett so bad. His was screaming and ran to jump in the bed with me!! He looked up at me and said mom please turn the rain off. Holding back a smile, I told him God was the only person who could do that. But I did not think he was finished washing outside yet. For the first time ever he seemed ok with my answer. He just held me tighter and smiled!! I really love being a mom at times like these!

ARD

Well today was another day-for sure!!!!! Lots of things are going through my mind lately! Hannah's ARD is Friday and I am so worried I my say the wrong thing and the school my shut down. Right now Hannah needs us all on the same path. Summer's coming up and ICANNOT have another one like last year! Please pray for us, the ARD is MAy 11!!
